Eugene Daniels

Eugene Daniels is currently the Director of Metro South Education District in the Western Cape. He has been involved in a range of organisations since 1976 and is actively engaged in addressing the educational challenges facing our country.

Rufus Mmutlana

Mr Rufus Mmutlana is serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the Matthew Goniwe School of Leadership and Governance (MGSLG). He has extensive experience in training, management and leadership development. He specialises in HRD and institutional development.

Mr Mmutlana holds two masters degrees: Master of Management from Wits University and Master of Arts from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.  He is a teacher by profession and a seasoned training manager and an human resources development expert.

He previously served as Deputy Director-General at PALAMA (the Public Administration Leadership and Management Academy), where he was leading the delivery of a wide range of capacity building programmes for public servants in the three-spheres of government. His other previous positions include serving as a Chief Director: Management and Leadership Development at SA Management Development Institute (SAMDI); Manager: Institute for Applied Communication at the former Technikon South Africa; Senior Lecturer: Education and Communication Studies at a University of Technology and a Lecturer at a College of Education and a University.
He has presented several papers at and served on various national HRD forums and the most recent one is his contribution as Chairperson for the Public Service Trainers’ Forum.
